Halsted Suites is located in the heart of Lincoln Park and is fabulously within walking distance to DePaul University. Halsted Suites is located in the Historic Armitage Shopping District at Armitage and Halsted. Please refer to the Armitage, Halsted, and Webster Merchant’s Association for shopping details.
Festivals

The annual Old Town Art Fair will be held June 12th and 13th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
St. Josaphat Summerfest, lost of local bands, will be held June 26th and June 27th.
The annual Sheffield Garden Walk will be held July 17th and 18th.
The annual Taste of Lincoln Avenue will be held July 24th and July 25th.
Every weekend throughout the summer, a Farmer’s Market is held at the Lincoln Park High School on Saturdays starting at 7am and ending around 11:30am.

Children’s Memorial Hospital is walking distance, only 4 blocks away. This is a highly respected, world renown hospital.
Northwestern Memorial Hospital is one of the closest to Halsted Suites, within 2 1/2 miles.

The Cadillac Palace Theater is one of many, wonderful theaters in Chicago. This theater is approximately 3 miles from Halsted Suites, easily accessible by public transportation.
Navy Pier is 3.5 miles from Halsted Suites. It offers many sightseeing and special attractions. Be sure to check their website for upcoming events.
The Field Museum is within 5 miles of Halsted Suites and is located in what we call The Museum Campus (neighboring the John G. Shedd Aquarium and the Adler Planetarium). The Field Museum offers free days, so please be sure to visit their website for more information.
The John G. Shedd Aquarium is also within 5 miles of Halsted Suites. It is a fabulous place to explore ocean life as well as fresh water life. They are also located at The Museum Campus. Please visit their website for details.
The Adler Planetarium is a wonderful place to learn and not realize how much you are learning. Just visiting the Adler Planetarium is like taking a trip to outer space, especially if you see one of the movies offered. Sports
If you are a sports fan, you are in the right place! Chicago is sports central, home to professional sports teams and collegiate teams.
Wrigley Field, home to the Chicago Cubs, is only 2 miles away. For most Chicagoans, this is walking distance. For the Cubs schedule, please visit their website.
Seeing a White Sox game is easy. The Red Line drops you off in the Cellular Field Stadium parking lot, and you can catch the Red Line just 4 blocks from Halsted Suites. Please check out the White Sox schedule. All in, the travel time is close to 30 minutes and you don’t have to hassle with driving.
The Chicago Bears play at Soldier Field which is approximately 5 miles from Halsted Suites. The Chicago Bears website shows the team’s schedule.
